Computer Lab

The library has multiple computers available for public use in two permanent computer labs with various levels of Internet access and a variety of software packages. The Bloomingdale Public Library offers free access to computers and the Internet. Visitors may use their valid Bloomingdale or SWAN library card or they may request a free Internet use card to access these resources. In addition, the library has laptop checkout available at both desks and a portable computer training lab. Please see Computer Services for more information on the services available in our labs.

Adult Computer Lab Resources:
15 Internet and Microsoft Office 2016 Computers, which includes the following programs:
Access - database software
Excel - spreadsheet software
PowerPoint - computer presentation software
Publisher - desktop publishing software
Word - word processing software
Black laser prints are $.10 per copy
Color laser prints are available @ $0.50 per copy
1 archiving stating station with VHS converter, photo/slide/film scanner, and Adobe Suite
1 microfiche reader (Local History)
2 express stations - 15 min limit
2 Simple Scan Stations
1 typewriter (available upon request)

6 Computers with MS Office, Internet access, and various learning games
