Performer: FlipSide
FlipSide is a 4 piece party/dance band that plays music from the 50's through the 80's, Motwon, Rock & Roll, R&B, Rockabilly, Swing and more. This event is co-sponsored by the Village of Bloomingdale. Check out Motown: The Music That Moved the World by Professor Gary Wenstrup on June 4th.

Ice Cream Social

Please join us for the Ice Cream Social, which celebrates the end of the Summer Reading Program. This event will be held in the parking lot of the library underneath a big top tent. Food will be available for purchase and of course ice cream! This event is co-sponsored by the Village of Bloomingdale.

Summer Gazebo Concert

Performer: Zydeco VooDoo
Zydeco VooDoo plays a mix of New Orleans and Mardi Gras music as well as popular rock and blues adapted to the New Orleans style. Our family friendly performances get the audience dancing and signing along. This event is co-sponsored by the Village of Bloomingdale.

Halloween Party

12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. (No admittance after 2:45 p.m.)
Everyone is invited to attend the Annual Halloween Party at the Bloomingdale Public Library. This event is sponsored by The Bloomingdale Public Library and the Village of Bloomingdale. The Halloween Party will be held outside under a tent, rain or shine! Children are encouraged to wear costumes. This event will feature free games, free refreshments, balloon artists, and much more!

Breakfast and Brunch with Santa Ticket Sales Open Today

Tickets for this event are available in the Business Office of the library during Business Office hours. This event is very popular and tickets sell out very quickly. Tickets are required for this event. We accept cash or checks, credit/debit cards not accepted. Tickets will not be available at the door the day of the event. Zoo Tree Ornament Workshop

6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Please join us in making holiday ornaments, which will be hung on the Bloomingdale Public Library tree at the Cosley Zoo later this month. Please contact the Youth Services Department at (630) 924-2740 to register for this program.

Snowman Crossing (Community Decorated Trees)
Wednesday, November 27 - Monday, December 2, 2019
All community groups and organizations in Bloomingdale are invited to decorate a tree that will be displayed throughout the month of December on the library grounds. For more information, please call Jamie Schingoethe in the Business Office at (630) 924-2721 or email at jschingoethe@mybpl.org.

The community is invited to attend the library's Annual Holiday Open House. This is a free event with entertainment and refreshments. This event is co-sponsored by the Village of Bloomingdale.

Breakfast and Brunch with Santa
Saturday, December 7, 2019
Breakfast and Brunch with Santa will be held at the Bloomingdale Golf Club, located at 181 Glen Ellyn Road in Bloomingdale. There are two seatings for this event: breakfast and brunch. Tickets for this event will be available starting Monday, November 5 in the Business Office of the library. Tickets are required for this event. We accept cash or checks, credit/debit cards not accepted. This event is very popular and tickets sell out very quickly. Tickets will not be available at the door the day of the event. This event features family friendly entertainment and a very special visitor all the way from the North Pole!

Cosley Zoo Tree Decorating
