Getting Started: Intro to Cricut Design Space
Cricut Design Space is a free, cloud-based application for working with the Cricut Maker, a machine featured in our Makerspace that can create designs out of paper, vinyl, fabric, and more. This class will teach you the basics of using the software to create and edit your own designs. Note: No equipment or supplies needed.
Smartphone Photography & Editing
Learn the basics of taking and editing photos and movies with Android and iPhones. Learn to use free editing products to prepare photos and movies for sharing. Different phones offer a wide range of camera features, so we will focus on more generally available tools rather than some of the higher end options.

Learn computer programming in a fun, easy, environment. Kids grades 4-8 will use Scratch to make animations, backgrounds, sounds, and a playable game in just a couple sessions. Whether you’ve never programmed before or already know some basics, you’re welcome to join in! Students are encouraged to attend all three sessions, but videos will be posted on YouTube for students who miss a class.
