Romance Scams: Will You Be the Next Victim?
ROMANCE SCAMS: WILL YOU BE THE NEXT VICTIM?
Please join us for a program designed to educate yourself so that you are not a victim of so-called "romance scams" during this holiday season celebrating love.
There was an estimated $1-1.5B in loses happened to victims of online and in-person romance scams in 2024. It is currently the #1 crime amongst senior citizens across the United States. Furthermore, this is only an estimate, as victims rarely report it to the police due to embarrassment.
Former police detective John Good witnessed the suffering these scammers inflicted upon their victims first-hand. He will present to you an interactive program examining all aspects of this crime, including the up-and-coming role AI is playing.
