BPL Makerspace Crafts: Custom Sublimation Mug
Create a custom mug using a sublimation printer.
Registration Limit: 4 patrons max per session, Bloomingdale Public Library card and computer experience required, ages 12 to adult.

Tuesday, November 25 | 2:30 – 4:30 p.m.
For Bloomingdale cardholders ages 12-17, please bring a completed Makerspace waiver filled out by a parent or legal guardian. Adult Bloomingdale cardholders can fill out a waiver at the session.

Smartphone Photography & Editing
Learn the basics of taking and editing pictures and movies with Android and iPhones. Students will learn to use free editing products to prepare their photos and movies for sharing. Note that different phones offer a wide range of camera features, so we will focus on more generally available tools rather than some of the higher end options.

Smartwatches like the Apple Watch give us computers on our wrists! Discover how they can help you meet your fitness goals, keep track of important events, and even replace your phone for common tasks.
Disaster Prevention
Avoid scary computer situations with basic safety measures. Blocking viruses, keeping personal information secure, good privacy practices, backing up your data, and avoiding fraud will be covered.
