Local Scholarships

Bloomingdale Artists Association (BAA)
The Bloomingdale Artists Association (BAA) offers one $1,000 scholarship to a qualified applicant pursuing a Visual Fine Arts Degree. The scholarship is co-funded by the BAA and Masterpiece Framing of Bloomingdale. The applicant must be a senior in high school or 18 years or older. Bloomingdale Area Women in Business Scholarship
The Bloomingdale Area Women in Business will award one $1,000 scholarship to a woman who is looking to improve herself professionally by such means as continued education or professional development with the goal of furthering her knowledge and expertise. Bloomingdale Chamber of Commerce Scholarship
The Bloomingdale Chamber of Commerce, along with contributions from several area businesses, will award $500-$1,000 scholarships to graduating high school or college students. Applicants must be planning to continue their education on a full-time basis, at an accredited post-secondary college, university, or vocational school in the United States to be eligible. Bloomingdale Chamber of Commerce Alumni Scholarship
Individuals enrolled full-time in a community college, four-year university, vocational school, or graduate program who have previously won a Bloomingdale Chamber Scholarship are eligible to apply. Two scholarships valued up to $1,500 are available for this one-time award. For scholarship eligibility and to apply, visit the Bloomingdale Chamber of Commerce website.


Bloomingdale School District 13 Parent Teacher Organization Scholarship
The Bloomingdale School District 13 Parent Teacher Organization is pleased to announce the availability of $750 scholarships for former District 13 students (Westfield, Erickson, and DuJardin schools). For scholarship eligibility and to apply, visit the Bloomingdale School District 13 website.


Glenbard North High School Scholarships

Joe Draghi Septemberfest Scholarship
The Joe Draghi Septemberfest Scholarship is once again being offered by the Septemberfest Commission. The award is funded through private, community, and corporate contributions. Applicants must be a resident of Bloomingdale between the ages of 17 and 20. Other requirements are noted on the application. The application packet will be available on the Village of Bloomingdale’s website by Monday, March 2, 2020 and is due on Monday, April 13, 2020. Winners will be announced at the 47th annual Septemberfest on September 12, 2020.
